Pastor David R. Grainge

David R. Grainge has been Millgrove Bible Church’s senior pastor since 2003.  He was ordained by the church in 2004.

David is a western New York native, born in Niagara Falls, NY.  David attended high school at Lewiston-Porter High School and graduated in 1980. He then completed a degree in German at Middlebury College in Vermont (including a year of language study in Vienna, Austria) in 1985. At Middlebury he also studied teacher education and writing. After a short stint as an English/Computer teacher at a Christian school in North Tonawanda, NY David moved to Winona Lake, IN where he attended Grace Theological Seminary.  There he met his wife, Lisa.   They were married in Warsaw, IN in 1987.  He completed his theological studies in 1991, graduating with a Masters of Divinity degree.

In 1992 David, Lisa and his family moved to inner city Philadelphia where he served as a RUN - Reaching Urban Neighborhoods - missionary. In Philly, he was part of a church-planting team in the Kensington section of the city. He served as the new church's acting adult pastor.

In 1996 David and Lisa followed God's call to return to
Buffalo to serve as Executive Director of the Buffalo Christian Center
.

David considers it a supreme privilege to be a minister of the gospel.  He loves the gospel and preaches it as ‘the power of God to salvation’ for everyone—especially the Christian!  He enjoys reformed theology and reading the writings of the great theologians—past and present.

David also enjoys spending time with his wife and children.  David, his wife Lisa, and their 5 children live in nearby Clarence.  David is an avid runner, completing a marathon in October 2002.     He enjoys computers and finding new ways to apply technology in the church and at home.  He is also a big, long-suffering Bills and Sabres fan.
