MBC's Clothes Closet

MBC’s Clothes Closet is open to the public on the third Saturday of each month from 9 am – 12 pm. Additionally, MBC’s Clothes Closet is open every Sunday morning, after morning service, to be used freely by our MBC family.

MBC’s Clothes Closet contains gently used clothing for the entire family. The beautifully displayed inventory is available to our MBC family as well as the Alden-area community for FREE.

Sue Evick created and manages MBC’s Clothes Closet with her team of cheerful volunteers. Sue’s initial purpose for the clothing ministry (originally named “The Clothing Exchange”) was to help her MBC family and friend’s save money on children’s clothing by providing a vehicle by which they could exchange their children’s outgrown clothing for “new” clothing that would fit.

This ministry has been such a blessing to so many that Sue believed that the Lord was leading her to expand the ministry’s reach. As a result, the Closet is now open to the whole community with clothing that meets the needs of the entire family.

Donations of both adult and children’s clothing can be dropped off at MBC’s Clothes Closet on Sunday mornings or at anytime during the week that the church is open. All donations should be gently used and clean.
